SMOOTH & TASTY KIDNEY BEAN DIP

      Title: SMOOTH & TASTY KIDNEY BEAN DIP

       3 c  Cooked AM Kidney Beans
            -- (1-1/2 cups dried)
       1    Onion; chopped
       8 oz Cream cheese; OR...
       1 c  -Creamy tofu
     1/2 c  Mild picante sauce
       2 tb Tamari sauce (optional)
       1 tb Chili powder
     1/2 c  Green enchilada sauce
       1 ts Garlic powder
  
   Blend (in blender or food processor) all ingredients. Serve with fresh
   vegetable pieces or tortilla chips.
