SUGAR & SPICE POPCORN

      Title: SUGAR & SPICE POPCORN

       Yield: 12 Cups

       1 c  Light brown sugar; firmly
            -packed
     1/4 c  Butter; or margarine
     1/4 c  Heavy cream
       1 ts Ground cinnamon
     1/4 ts Ground cloves
     1/4 ts Ground nutmeg
         ds Mace
      12 c  Popped corn
  
   In a heavy saucepan, combine all ingredients except popcorn. Cook
   over med. heat, stirring constantly, until sugar is dissolved. Pour
   over popcorn, tossing to coat evenly. Spread out evenly on a lightly
   buttered baking sheet.  Cool.  Break into small pieces.
