 MMMMM----------------------YIELD: 1 RECIPE---------------------------
       1 lb Lean pork meat; 3/4" cube
       2 ts Oil
       1 ea To 2 cl garlic; mince
       5 ea Tb Soy or mushroom soy sauce
     1/4 ts Black peppercorns
       3 ea Tb Cider vinegar
       1 ea Bay leaf
     1/2 c  Plus 2 tb water
       2 ts Cornstarch
            Salt; opt
  
   Heat oil in heavy saucepan over high heat. Lightly brown pork cubes.
   Add garlic, soy sauce, peppercorns, vinegar, bay leaf and 1/2 cup
   water. Cover and simmer until pork is tender, about 25 to 30 minutes.
   Stir cornstarch into remaining 2 tb water until smooth. Stir into
   pork mixture. Simmer until thickened. Adjust soy sauce or salt to
   taste. Remove bay leaf. Serve hot with rice. 516 cal; 36 gr fat; 63%
