Title: PECAN MERINGUES

         2 c  pecans -- chopped
         1 TB flour
         1 TB corn starch
         2 lg egg whites
   :       pn salt
         1 c  light brown sugar -- packed
   
   Chop the nut medium fine.  Mix the nuts , flour and cornstarch in a
   small bowl.  Beat the egg whites until stiff, adding sugar gradually.
   Fold in the flour/nut mixture. Drop by spoonfulls onto parchment
   paper. Bake in preheated 300 oven for about 18-20 minutes.
